GoLive Support
Installation/upgrade of SAP systems based on HANA Platform
An SAP HANA system lives on applications. When you develop these applications, you should think about securing them early. Using HTTPS instead of HTTP is one of the basics. In addition, you ensure secure authentication and implement a Secure Software Development Lifecycle to ensure backup in your own developments. In your applications, you better start to check them for risks early on and run this backup process regularly. You can analyse and restrict access to source code later. Create a risk register and address security vulnerabilities in a risk-based manner. The later you discover a risk, the more expensive the fix will be. Further information on SAP Security in addition to the article can be found here. Do you have any further questions or suggestions concerning this topic? Would you like us to go further on the subject? I look forward to your feedback!

Basis comprises a number of middleware programs and tools from SAP. Basis is responsible for the smooth operation of the SAP Basis system and thus for R/3 and SAP ERP, for example. SAP thus provides the underlying basis (hence the name) that enables various SAP applications to be interoperable and portable across operating systems and databases.
Troubleshooting and support (2nd and 3rd level support)

If there are such conflicts, SPAM will cancel and prompt you to play the appropriate Conflict Resolution Transports (CRTs).

SAP Basis is the foundation of any SAP system. You can find a lot of useful information about it on this page: www.sap-corner.de.

In the SAP NetWeaver BI Authorization Concept lesson, the training participant is familiarized with the authorization functions of the SAP Business Information Warehouse. The differences between the authorization concept for ERP systems and the authorization concept for NetWeaver BI are taught.

Some missing SAP basic functions in the standard are supplied by the PC application "Shortcut for SAP Systems".

To do this, under Folder in the SPAM, select Aborted Support.

So much information... how can you keep it so that you can find it again when you need it? Scribble Papers is a "note box" that makes this very easy.

The following table shows the typical structure of a three-tier R/3 Basis system.
