A role concept according to best practice protects you from potential attacks within your SAP landscape. However, to protect your system from unauthorized access via the network, a correct configuration of the SAP gateway is required. It enables the use of external programs via interfaces or the call of ABAP programs and serves as a technical component of the application server, which manages the communication of all RFC-based functions.

SAP offers a huge toolbox of different technologies to support business processes. The usefulness of their use is essentially determined by the task and its technical requirements. We have gained a lot of valuable experience in the following technologies, which we would like to make available to you.
Customizing of the notifications according to customer requirements
Inheritance Hierarchy with Master Roles and Associated Roles If you have created multiple derived roles, a simple overview of all "related" roles can be convenient. Understanding the structure and functioning of the system is especially important for IT administration. It is not for nothing that "SAP Basis Administrator" is a separate professional field. On the page www.sap-corner.de you will find useful information on this topic.

Tools such as "Shortcut for SAP Systems" complement missing functions in the SAP basis area.

IMPORT_PROPER In this step, all repository objects and table entries are fed.

The freeware Scribble Papers puts an end to the confusing paper chaos. The tool is also suitable for storing, structuring and quickly finding text documents and text snippets of all kinds in addition to notes.

This is done by using the STMS -> Import Overview (F5) to display the import queues.
