Structure of SAP Basis
Default Scenario
SAP Basis is also known as module BC or application Basis. In this context, SAP Basis refers to all transactions, programs and objects that control the functions of the overall system. This includes, among other things, user and authorization management as well as the configuration of interfaces via RFC.

This prevents that just because someone would start a new chain, someone would accidentally recognise it as "reality". However, sometimes two miners working on the longest chain find a new block at the same time. This is called Orphan Blocks. The chain now has in principle two end pieces (2 parallel blocks). Different miners now work at different ends of the chain. The blockchain will then continue where the next block will be found first. The other block is called the Orphan Block, and it's sort of a dead branch of the blockchain. So how do you explain the above things to your grandma?
Add-ons
The presentation layer is used to visualize the applications and data for the user. The presentation is done with the help of a graphical user interface (GUI). Furthermore, the presentation view consists of several modules, which are also summarized as SAP GUI. SAP Fiori is the presentation layer of the next generation and is therefore particularly user-friendly.

The website www.sap-corner.de offers many useful information about SAP basis.

The SAP Basis team handles the entire administration of an SAP system. As a company, you have to decide whether you want to leave the support of your system within your company or place the "Basis" in the hands of an SAP expert.

"Shortcut for SAP Systems" makes many tasks in the area of the SAP basis much easier.

The underlying information can be found in the master thesis in chapters 7.4 and 9.2.

To store all the information on the subject of SAP - and others - in a knowledge database, Scribble Papers is suitable.

Through the RFC Gateway Server, your system communicates with external servers and programmes.
