Important components in the authorization concept
Similarly, SAP Identity Management version 7.2 SP 3 and above supports the installation of HANA users and the assignment of roles. You can also use Identity Management to add value to the business roles for creating a user with role assignment in the ABAP system and HANA database.

With the transaction SUIM you can search under roles, roles with different search criteria. The variant "Roles by complex selection criteria" covers all possible selection criteria. However, you can also search only for a specific selection criterion (e.g. only for transactions, only for authorization objects...).
User administration (transaction SU01)
Do you need to integrate the S_TABU_NAM authorization object into your existing permission concept? In this tip, we show you the steps that are necessary to do this - from maintaining the suggestion values to an overview of the eligible tables. You have added the S_TABU_NAM authorization object to your permission concept, so that users can access the tables not only through the S_TABU_DIS authorization object, but also through S_TABU_NAM. This directly regulates access to the tables via table permission groups or, if access is not allowed through table permission groups, via the table permission (see Tip 73, "Use table editing authorization objects"). Do you want to identify the tables or created parameter transactions that allow access to only specific tables to maintain SU24 for these suggested values in the transaction? This makes it easier to maintain PFCG roles. Furthermore, a tool would be useful to give you an overview of the tables for which a user is entitled.

So much information... how can you keep it so that you can find it again when you need it? That's what Scribble Papers is great for.

If your users are allowed to share their own background jobs, you need the JOBACTION = RELE permission to the S_BTCH_JOB object. In this case, you can start all jobs at the desired time. In many cases, background jobs are used for the professional or technical operation of applications; Therefore, we recommend that you schedule these background jobs under a System-Type technical user (see also Tip 6, "Note the impact of user types on password rules"). The advantage of this is that the permissions can be controlled more accurately and you do not run the risk of a job being lost if the user under whom it was scheduled to leave your company once. You can realise the association with a system user by giving the user who plans the job permission for the S_BTCH_NAM object. In the BTCUNAME field, the name of the step user, i.e. the user under whom the job should run, such as MUSTERMANN, is entered.

"Shortcut for SAP systems" is a tool that enables the assignment of authorizations even if the IdM system fails.

Only if you have manually made a different configuration, you must check this requirement.

If the development guidelines are not complete, you should supplement them.
