Perform Risk Analysis with the Critical Permissions Report
Define a user group as mandatory field in the user root
If a user does not have a print permission for an output device (S_SPO_DEV privilege object), an instant print flag may be rescinded, which means that a spool job created during the job step would not print immediately. If archive parameters are passed when scheduling a step, a check is performed on the object S_WFAR_PRI. If the Step user does not have a matching permission, an error message is displayed.

You cannot increase the retention time afterwards; Therefore, you should adjust the configuration in good time before starting a project. In addition, you should change the settings of the stat/rfcrec and stat/rfc/distinct profile parameters. For example, you should increase the value of stat/rfcrec to 30, and stat/rfc/distinct should be set to 1. This improves the completeness of the recorded RFC usage data. For details on the technical improvements, see SAP Note 1964997.
Communication User
When you start a report with the ABAP statement SUBMIT REPORT, the system checks the authorization object S_PROGRAM, provided that the program has been assigned to a program authorization group in transaction SE38. If this assignment is not sufficient for your system environment, you can define your own group assignment with the report RSCSAUTH. You must check this assignment after installing Support Packages or upgrades and reassign the reports if necessary.

A note box in which data of all kinds can be quickly filed and retrieved. This is what Scribble Papers promises. At first, the program looks very spartan. But once a small structure is in place, you realise the great flexibility of this little helper.

You can implement the first request for additional verifications when performing document transactions by using document validation. In this example, we assume that the document is posted through an interface and that you want to check permissions for custom authorization objects and/or certain data constellations. There are different dates for document validation. The complete document can always be validated, if only the information from document header (time 1) or document position (time 2) is available to you, this can also be sufficient depending on the scenario. In such cases, you need to create validation at the appropriate times. Before you can write a User-Exit in a validation, you have to make some preparations.

With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you can automate the assignment of roles after a go-live.

The customising switch requires a valid user group, because it is used as the default user group.

In such cases, you must implement the Web application in a system that supports SSO logins, such as Central User Management (ZBV), SAP Identity Management (ID Management), or Active Directory (AD).
